What does Bridging to Grade 2 mean?
A customised learning journey for students joining Grade 1 in January 2025, where under the expert guidance of trained teachers, students learn key skills required for the transition to Grade 2 in April 2025.
How does it fast-track education?
If your child is over 5 years, they are eligible for Grade 1 in January. Bridging lessons from January enables Grade 1 joiners to achieve the expected learning outcomes so that they are ready to join their peers in Grade 2 in April 2025.
Which curriculum does it cater to?
The programme is designed for both the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the CBSE curriculum. For PYP, the focus is on developing literacy and math skills. For CBSE, we emphasise key concepts and areas from the syllabus, ensuring students achieve mastery in those subjects.
How are the necessary skills developed?
Experienced teachers, who know the key concepts required for Grade 2, train the students to achieve the desired learning outcomes. Focus is laid on mastering key skills through differentiated instructional strategies. There are separate classes for Bridge to Grade 2 Programme.
