About the Programme / 关于双语课程

Open to all nationalities, our bilingual programme will commence from January 2021 for students of Grades 1 to 5. It offers equal exposure to English and Mandarin as part of the curriculum and is closely aligned to the IB Primary Years Programme framework.

Qualified teachers, who are proficient in both Mandarin and English, deliver the curriculum in part English and part Mandarin language. Classes are separate for students pursuing Chinese-English Bilingual Programme.

GIIS offers a speciality Programme like Bilingual at a very moderate fee so that more and more students can make use of the great opportunity and master the languages pertinent to their success.

There will be a very nominal difference in fee between the Bilingual Programme and mainstream IB PYP programme.
