21st Century, Skill-based Learning

Widely-recognised IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and CBSE Curriculum
At GIIS, IB PYP, offered to students across Grades 1-5, nurtures confident and open-minded students who develop love for lifelong learning. Its inquiry-based, interdisciplinary approach promotes independent and critical thinking skills.
CBSE (Grades 1-5), the Indian Central Board curriculum provides a standardised academic foundation with a focus on STEM subjects, establishing a firm groundwork for secondary education.

Wide Variety of Sports Programmes Build Leadership Skills
GIIS offers numerous sports for students, such as basketball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, cricket, soccer and athletics. These are offered as part of PE, ECA, and after-school activities. To foster a healthy competitive spirit and sportsmanship, our students regularly participate and win in inter-house and inter-school competitions.
For students with exceptional talent, our Gold Squad programme provides specialised coaching in popular sports, preparing students for inter-school, zonal and national competitions at no additional cost.

Performing & Visual Arts Develop Creativity
Through our Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), students receive expert guidance in various artistic disciplines such as arts, dancing and music. These activities build confidence and self-expression. Additionally, participation in CCAs helps students build portfolios for future opportunities, crucial for advanced studies or specialised programmes in universities. These experiences can lead to scholarships, internships, and careers in the arts.
