Qutuhal Season 4, a virtual Inter-School Competition held annually at Global Indian International School, Dubai.

This year the competition will be based on the values of CURIOSITY, INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

At GIIS, we have always believed that curiosity is the fuel for discovery, inquiry and learning. Many of the skills we want our children to learn must be instilled, as we tend to assume that children won't develop these skills spontaneously. Thus, curiosity is unique because the more you use it, the more you have, and young minds have it in abundance. However, as they grow older, curiosity tends to need a little motivation.

This is where Qutuhal comes in. Qutuhal in Sanskrit and Arabic means curiosity. Through various activities that children would partake in, they get the unique opportunity to ideate, share & co-create knowledge while kindling their curiosity.

Qutuhal is a multi award winner for Quality and innovation for education from Dubai Quality Group (DQG), Indian Society for Quality (ISQ) and confederation of Indian Industry(CII) to name a few since the year 2019. We are on the forth season of Qutuhal this year. Last year's competition saw a participation of 2500 students across 35 schools globally. This year, we're excited to take it up a notch! With a panel of judges whoa re pioneers in their respective fields and events held over a wide variety of engaging themes, this competition is an excellent platform and acts as a stepping stone for your child to grow.

The competition will be held over 9 weeks with 9 weekly challenges across different age groups and the participants can accrue weekly points on Qutuhal Rewards platform. This will be followed by the grand finale innovation challenge with exciting cash awards to win. the challenges will be announced every Monday and the participants are required to submit their challenge by Sunday 4PM !

The Competition will be held in weekly challenges over 4 age groups of students between grade 1 to 12. Challenges will be announced every Monday. The Participants would need to submit their entries by 4PM on Sunday in the following week.

The Challenges will begin from 10th October to 31st of December, so get those wheels turning!
