This year the competition will be based on the values of curiosity and innovation. At GIIS, we have always believed that curiosity helps children learn efficiently. Many of the skills we want our children to develop must be instilled, as we tend to assume that children won't develop these skills spontaneously. In this sense, curiosity is unique because young children already have it in abundance. However, as they grow older, curiosity may diminish. That’s where Qutuhal comes in. Qutuhal in Sanskrit & Arabic means curiosity. Through the different activities at Qutuhal, children get an opportunity to ideate, share and co-create knowledge and keep their curiosity kindled. Last years competitions saw participation from over 1200 students across 30 schools and received more than 2000 entries. So this year, we are taking it up a notch further. With a panel of judges who are pioneers in their respective fields and events held over a wide variety of engaging themes such as Space Exploration, Robotics, Digital Media, Sustainability, Culinary Science & more, this competition is an excellent platform for your child to grow. The Competition will be held in weekly challenges over 4 age groups of students between grade 1 to 12. Challenges will be announced every Sunday. The Participants would need to submit their entries by 12 noon on Saturday in the following week.
