Experience International Learning In More Ways Than One
GIIS Tokyo is more than just an educational facility — it's a community of engaging instructors, innovative administrators and aspiring students who are poised to become global leaders. GIIS Tokyo offers the below international curricula
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Primary Years Programme is a curriculum framework designed for students aged 6 to 12. IB curriculum is practiced in over 150 countries globally with a network of 5000 schools and supported by teacher and co-ordinator community who develop and promote the curriculum. Our Global Montessori Plus Programme for Kindergarten is the base for the IB PYP programme.
The framework for this curriculum encourages inquiry-based learning, giving students the chance to go beyond memorising facts and to start exploring concepts, thinking critically and creating innovative solutions that are applicable in a professional environment. This programme is for students aged 6 to 12.
This curriculum develops skills and understanding in English, mathematics, science, global perspectives and ICT for the first three years of secondary education.
The framework is designed to engage learners in an active and creative learning journey. This programme is typically for learners aged 12 to 16 years. Cambridge schools belong to a worldwide education community.
This modern international curriculum programme is the basis of our secondary education programme at GIIS Tokyo. IBDP is the world's most popular international curriculum for 16 - 18 year old students.
Students complete coursework in five core subject areas, including humanities and social sciences, languages, mathematics, creative, technical and vocational.
With the ability to customise their programme with core and extended tracks, students can create a path that best suits their interests and skills.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is recognised as a reliable record of attainment by universities and employers around the world.
Mr. Hisato Yuto, Parent
At GIIS Tokyo, our administrators and educators have created a framework that requires students to go beyond the basics.
Students enjoy hands-on experiences in a supportive and welcoming environment.
These experiences require them to ask questions, think critically and test their own possible solutions.
Students graduate with the skills they need to succeed in the global economy of the 21st century.
This diversity has created a beautiful melting pot, naturally allowing GIIS Tokyo to be a welcoming place where the entire family becomes part of the learning journey.
