Isha Bhagat
Isha comes from tiny and remote tribal village Lodhan, Nandod, Narmada district
Being a girl and that too in a tribal community made things difficult for Isha, as opportunities for them are almost non-existent. However, Isha never let her spirit and aspiration fade away in adversities, and always stayed on course of becoming a doctor. Her determination has been inspirational to other girls in her community.
In 2007, she enrolled in Mahatma Gandhi Global Indian Ekkavya School, Tilakwada in the 7th standard. After the 10th board exam, she took up the science stream for the 12th standard. Her favourite subject was biology. And she always took part in different kinds of science related competitions. After 12th she took admission to the Homeopathic Medical College in Baroda.
In 2020, Isha completed her BHMS medical studies and did her internship at BHMS in Baroda Medical college of Homeopathic. She has joined the country’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. During the onslaught of the pandemic, she is working as a doctor in a hospital to cure corona-infected patients. The inspirational success story of Isha against all odds will inspire young girls to have dreams and unleash their potential.
